Body wraps are best performed by a
qualified technician.
If you are performing a self body wrap, follow these steps:
What to Wear
Ladies should wear panties and bra or a bathing suit. Men can
wear shorts.
Before the wrap.
Do not use soaps, lotions or
creams prior to the wrap. Our body washes contain no pore clogging ingredients
and will clean and open the pores to be ready for the body wrap solution. Use
one of our body washes or other non-clogging wash when you shower prior to your
wrap.
Dry Skin Body Brush. Dry skin brushing
opens the pores, increases circulation and removes dead skin cells.

Performing the Body Wrap |
 |
The technique you use for
performing your body wrap will depend on whether you choose to
use compression wraps or plastic wraps to wrap with. We
will show you both techniques.
Wrapping with compression wraps
The benefits of wrapping with
bandage wraps is that they apply heat and compression to the
skin to help draw out toxins. And the wraps can be washed (in
hot water) and used again and again.
If you are using the compression
wraps, you will soak them in water or a body wrap solution prior
to wrapping. Heat the water or solution to 120 degrees F in a
heating unit (this can be a crock pot, roaster, slow cooker, or
even a pot on the stove top). Heat for 30 minutes to allow the
solution to be absorbed into the wraps. Allow the solutions to
cool to a temperature that is still hot but tolerable to the
touch. Use tongs to remove the wraps from the heated solution 1
at a time as needed. Wear gloves to wring out the excess water
from the wrap prior to wrapping.
If you are applying clay or mud
prior to wrapping, apply it in a thin layer prior to wrapping.
The Wrapping Process
You can choose to do a full body wrap, a partial body wrap
or spot treatments. Full body wraps start at the
ankle and work upward wrapping the entire body. Partial wraps
start above the knee and wrap to below the chest. Spot wraps can
be used on any area of your body.

Tips for Wrapping with bandage type wraps:
|
 |
1. Wrap Towards the Heart
Start your wrap at the left ankle and always wrap
from the outside of the body towards the front.
This will ensure that blood circulation is not slowed down; also
it is important to start from the bottom and work upwards.
Always wrapping towards the heart.
2. Overlapping Wraps
Make sure the lower edge of the wrap crosses the
middle of the previous wrap; this helps to eliminate bulges and
avoids unnecessary lines when the wrap is removed.
3. Twist & Tuck Method
To secure each wrap firmly, twist the end of the
wrap starting about 2 inches before reaching the end of the
wrap. Twist and tuck into the previous wrap. When coming around
with the wrap make sure that you cover the previous opening.
This will save you time and you will be able you to get out of the wrap safely and effectively.
4. Pressure Points
Use extreme caution when wrapping the four pressure points: Back of the knee joints, Inside top of the legs (groin), Lower Back, Inside of elbows
5. Criss Crossing
When applying the wraps in all areas, (except the
legs) employ the criss cross method (X). You will always be
working on the area that is facing you.
6. Wrap Tension
Various tensions can be used but it is important to have some
tension in order to compact the skin tissue. Tighter tension
should be used at the top of the legs and the mid body.

Wrapping with Plastic Wrap
Plastic wrap can be used to wrap areas where clay or mud are
applied to the skin. The benefits of using plastic wrap is that
it is easier to use if you are wrapping yourself and you can
still get terrific results. It is also much easier to clean up
because you can simply throw it away when it is removed.
To use plastic wrap, apply the
clay or mud to the area, then wrap with the plastic wrap. Do not
wrap too tightly.
Sample Spot Treatments
All Wrapped Up...
When finished wrapping, put on a sauna suit, a sweat suit, or
cover up with warm covers. Stay in the wraps for at least 60
minutes. To enhance results you can also perform light exercises
(a treadmill, elliptical, vibration machine, etc.) or sit in a
sauna or sauna blanket. |
 |
Remove the Wraps
Slowly remove the wraps and wipe
off any excess residue with a moist cloth. For best results, do not rinse
or shower for at least 6 hours to allow the benefits of the
formula to continue to work. Re-measure and see the results!
Anti-Cellulite Gel
Apply the Slenderizing Anti-Cellulite Gel after removing the wraps.
To wrap the neck
Pull back
hair or use a shower cap. Start at the top of the head, wrap and
bring to down under the chin and back around.
How Often to Wrap
For best results, complete a
series of 8-12 wraps. This can be done once a week or as much as
every other day.
Additional Information
For greater results, stay on a good diet, drink at least 8-10
glasses of water a day. See "Keep the Inches Off!" for more
details.
